  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 6 Cups Shredded Cabbage
  • 1 Lb Ground Beef
  • 15 Oz Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Large Finely Chopped Onion
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 5 Cubs Beef Bone Broth
  • 1/2 Tsp Thyme
  • 1/2 Tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp Oregano

Optional Items

  • 1 Bay Leaf


  • Warm up the oil in a big pot.
    Add the chopped onions and saute for 3 minutes on medium heat.
    Stir in the ground beef, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Continue cooking on medium high temperature, separating the meat with a rubber spatula until it is finely crumbled (about 8 minutes).
    Add in the beef bone broth, the diced tomatoes, optional bay leaf, thyme, paprika oregano and cabbage.
    Simmer over medium heat until the cabbage is still a little crunchy in texture.
    Season as desired with salt and pepper.


Some people may wish to substitute turkey for the ground beef.
